about

This is part of the last show Thanatos played with William Tucker. The tape for this was a cassette and it was a mess. Most of the first part of the tape was unintelligible and it only got usable with the track, "The World With Tigers."

This had to be put together laboriously and was originally mono. The reason it is up here is that, even with the problems it is still, to me, a show worth hearing. I would say "we were all pissy" but the truth is that Eric and Vince were always easy going. Tucker and I were the ones being pissy (especially him...he was about to work on a record for someone else that ultimately was a disaster)....

The venue was a quasi-legendary Chicago punk rock venue in an area that is now mostly shoe stores. No more punk rawk. We had a tendency to play in venues that would shortly close...I refuse to take the BLAME for that but ...Chicago people remember Thurstons?...the old Bottom Lounge....Lounge Ax....Probably some others I am forgetting.
